Besides Aquagirl, I've never seen so many women in one place... particularly in one pool! It was almost surreal- being surrounded by so many different types of women who love women! It was fantastic! It was also great for Spectrum Wellness 360, as this was our first opportunity to be a sponsor/vendor and provide brand awareness for our services and offerings. We had a rocky start, but we managed to rock it out and had a blast in the process! ![]() To recap my GIW experience and weekend, I must start at the beginning. So, I will introduce my mother and father. They flew all the way from Pennsylvania to help me provide support and assistance for my business, so I want to give them the recognition they deserve, because it wasn't easy! This having been my first vendor experience, I thought I had everything figured out, but I painfully forgot the most important part: to buy and bring a canopy tent! After two hours on the first day with no shade in 93 degree weather, we were languishing in the hot sun, and I had to send my father to Target to pick up the tent, but after that things began to kick into gear. We offered a Smudge Bar, where I made bespoke smudge sticks using freshly dried herbs with either a palo santo wood or bundled white sage base. Besides being beautiful, they ward your space and person against negativity and evil. Needless to say, they were a hit! It felt really good to hear positive feedback that was shared with us by GIW attendees with regards to our retreat and services. My parents and I alike really enjoyed meeting everyone and discussing how important mental and physical wellness really is, and we were pleasantly surprised to be well received in such a party environment. So once again we'd love to thank all the attendees as well as Pandora Events for allowing us to be part of an amazing community and cultural experience! Now because I worked so hard at my booth during the daytime, I was definitely excited to get out to the night parties and events, and they didn't disappoint! The dancefloor was packed with a sea of women dancing, grinding, making out, and just vibing and it was good times! I also almost peed my pants laughing at the comedy show, and being front row gave me a chance to directly interact with the comedians and even be a part of their jokes! Girls in Wonderland was a great crowd and I can't wait to go back next year!
