We still have over a month left of summer, but figuratively speaking, summer is rapidly approaching its end. Vacations were already taken, school is about to start, and fiscal responsibilities are about to begin. Perhaps seasonal feelings of anxiety and sadness are starting to kick in as you look forward towards Autumn, or perhaps you start to feel regret at missed opportunities you might have passed up during the last few months. Maybe you feel like you’ve had all the fun you’re going to have for the summer and that there’s no more room for the kind of adventure and carefree recreation you’ve been having.
But, LISTEN UP! Don’t despair! Make these remaining weeks of summer the best part! Here’s how!

Masculine women are women too.
Despite the confusion that our appearance or attitudes may present to the heterosexual community, at the end of the day we are female- with female issues. Now, tackling these issues may require a different and more delicate approach due to the adaptation of some negative heterosexual stereotypes on gender and masculinity, but at the end of the day, ignoring these issues means ignoring our bodies, and ultimately our health. In 2018, it’s time that we as butch/ studs/stems/non-binaries/masculine-of-center individuals embrace our biological bodies and processes with a natural acceptance and educated understanding of what health and wellness means for us.
I’d go so far as to say that these health issues are even more rampant among our population of the community. So I wrote this for my fellow bois as a way to point out certain health and wellness issues that affect us specifically. At the end of the day, the responsibility of health and wellness is ours alone, and because we don’t know what we don’t know, we might be directly or indirectly affecting our own well-being. I will disclose that I'm not a mother myself, but an awesome aunt (if I say so myself lol). I understand that I have not yet experienced the depth of fatigue and sacrifice that mothers make on a daily basis for their children. But I do believe I have some useful commentary on remaining balanced and grounded during the challenges parenting throws at mothers, as well as hacks on creating and maintaining a stable and healthy family environment.
After much anticipation, the day finally arrived for our Health, Wealth, & Wisdom VIP Full-Day Seminar! Behind the scenes, we had worked very hard and closely with our guest guru Vibe Veda to create an engaging program for the event. But what ended up happening was an organic and free-flowing day of healing and understanding, even more amazing than any of us could have dreamed of!
